Retro Housewife Goes Green- Monthly Update |
Good morning! Happy November! October was a nice month around here. I love fall and we've had cooler temps this month which has been nice. It was a bit too cold and rainy for a couple of days which isn't my favorite but now it's sunny and in the 50s. Yesterday my niece and her parents and my parents came by to trick or treat. She was adorable. She's 2 1/2 which is a really fun age. We gave her a book, Hocus Pocus Little People, and a bag full of mini bags of chocolate chip cookies (her favorite). My parents gave her a stuffed animal. She was SO excited. It was also her first house to visit so we were joking that she was going to be expecting all houses to fill her trick bucket and give her bags of presents. She's the only kid in the family so we all spoil her a bit. After that, my husband and I had dinner and watched a movie. It was a nice Halloween. I hope if you celebrate Halloween you had a nice day as well! Now I'm ready for full Christmas mode! It's my favorite time of the year. Be sure you are following me on Instagram because I'll be posting a lot of decorating and other holiday fun. I'd love to hear how your October went, hit reply, and let's chat.
